On March 20th 1984, we signed an agreement for establishing rolling mill with Nanfeng Supplying and Marketing Cooperation. Each party invested RMB 150,000. On August 20th,Yonglian Rolling Mill was established and put into production.

In the year 1987,we invested RMB 1.8 million and cooperated with China Shipbreaker co.,Ltd East China Branch , constructed a steel rolling line of φ250
.

In August 1988, “Zhangjiagang Nanfeng Hardware and Wire-Drawing Factory” was established.

In June 1991, Mr. Wu Yaofang was appointed as the proprieter of Industrial Committee and Manager of Yonglian Rolling mill.

On January 10th 1993, Zhangjiagang Yonglian Pipe-Casting Factory was established and put into production. On April 8th, Yonglian 110KV transformer substation strarted to operation. On April 18th, with the investment nearly RMB 35 million, the high angular rigidity, short stress and half Contact Usion rolling production line of φ530 was finished and put into production. On November 28th, Zhangjiagang Yongheng Steel co.,Ltd founded. On December 28th, Jiangsu Yonggang Group founded.

On October 28th 1995, Zhangjiagang Hefeng Steel co.,Ltd was set up. On November 2th,, Yonggang became one of the first group of enterprises which were “National Villages and Towns Enterprises” On November 24th 1996, Yonggang became the first villages and towns enterprise which passed ISO9002 in Zhangjiagang City

On November 28th 1998, Jiangsu Lianfeng Steel Stock co.,Ltd convened the constituted conference, Mr. Wu Dongcai was appointed as the board chairman and Mr. Wu Yaofang was appointed as the General Manager. In July 1999, the Hot Rolled Deformed Bars of Lianfeng brand was recognized as “China famous product”.

On May 8th 2000, “Jiangsu Lianfeng Steel Stock Co.,Ltd” renamed as “Jiangsu Lianfeng Industrial Stock Co.,Ltd”. On May 9th ,Board chairman, Mr. Wu Dongcai, took part in the symposium of Party Construction presided by the Genernal Secretary Mr. Jiang Zemin,in Nanjing Dongjiao Hotel.

In January 2001,Yonggang got the title“the Industrial Enterprise with the sales income over 200 million RMB in 2005”. On March 16th, the Hot Rolled Deformed Bars of Lianfeng brand got the title of National Exempt Inspection Product.

On March 8th 2002, Zhangjiagang Lianfeng Pets Foods Co., Ltd, steel wire factory and Zhangjiagang Huada Science and Technology Co.,Ltd separately had the ceremony for putting into production and laying a foudation. On August 16th,Yonggang held foundation ceremony for “steelmaking 1 million tons”. On September 7th ,the cooperation convened the mobilization conferrnce for the “steelmaking 1 million tons” programe. On October 19th , Zhangjiagang Lianfeng colour plating co.,Ltd and Huada electric and science(Zhangjiagang) co.,Ltd were put into production successively .

On January 16th 2003,the second shareholders Congress of Jiangsu Lianfeng Industrial Stock Co.,Ltd was convened in Yonggang Hotel.

On July 28th ,Yonggang “steelmaking 1 million tons” line was put into production.and laid a foundation for “1 million high speed wire” line. On August 31th, NO.2 blast furnace and NO.2 converter of the “steelmaking 1 million tons”project were put into production separately ,it marked that the project ended successfully.

On October 10th 2004,Lianfeng steel got the title of national exempt inspection product again.On December 28th,the sales income exceeded RMB 1 million.

On January 7th 2005, Yonggang collected RMB 58,729.76 and contributed to the Disaster–affected countries around Indian Ocean, On March 28th , the project of one million tons wire rolling was put into production. On June 20th ,Yonggang Group took part in the activity:Jiangsu changjiang river resource releasing breeding and contributed RMB 10 thousand, and put 50,000 swellfish into the river .Yonggang ranked the 206th in China among the top 500 listed enterprises in 2005.On July 27th,Yonggang convened the mobilization conference : “Fight high temperature, Contend for high yield”.On September 3th ,Zhangjiangang Yongtai Port was put into operation.

March 4th 2006, Jiangsu Lianfeng Industrial convened the third shareholder conference.On June 11th ,Yonggang convened the award conference for the finishment of the second part of steelmaking capacity.
